Vivo iQOO Specifications & Features

The Vivo iQOO, the latest entrant in the gaming smartphone segment, draws inspiration from supercars for its design, as highlighted during the launch event. Sporting an LED strip down the center of the rear panel, it serves not only as a notification indicator but also illuminates during gaming sessions, a feature referred to as the “Monster Halo.”

Regarding specifications, the device boasts a 6.41-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and an impressive 91.7% screen-to-body ratio. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset, it pairs with a minimum of 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and offers storage options up to 256GB.

The Vivo iQOO boasts super liquid cooling technology to maintain lower temperatures, 14% lower than the Vivo NEX. It runs on Vivo’s Android 9 Pie-based FunTouchOS and features an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

Being a gaming smartphone, the iQOO introduces Monster Touch, an air trigger on the device’s edge, ideal for FPS games. It also offers a 4D audio and vibration experience for gaming immersion.

In the camera department, the iQOO sports a triple camera setup on the rear and a 12MP selfie camera inside the waterdrop notch on the display. The setup comprises a 12MP (f/1.79) primary sensor, a 13MP ultra wide-angle, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The Vivo iQOO smartphone features a 4,000mAh battery, adequate for daily use. Additionally, it includes a 44W Type-C Super Charger, employing dual BQ half-voltage charging. The charger boasts a capsule-shaped connector, allowing uninterrupted usage during charging.

Vivo claims up to 50% charge in 15 minutes and a full charge in approximately 45 minutes, comparable to charging speeds of devices like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Oppo R17 Pro.
