Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and 6GB RAM, it delivers performance typical of devices in this category. If you’re considering a mid-range device and want to know about the Vivo V11 Pro’s performance, you’re in the right place. We’ve tested it thoroughly to help you decide whether to invest in this device or explore other options. Let’s delve into the performance and gaming review of the Vivo V11 Pro:

Vivo V11 Pro: Performance and Gaming Assessment

At Beebom, we prioritize real-world performance over synthetic benchmark scores. Nevertheless, we recognize the significance of benchmarks to some readers as they offer a general insight into a device’s capabilities. Hence, before delving into our assessment of the Vivo V11 Pro, we conducted standard benchmark tests to gauge its preliminary performance.

Benchmark Results for the Vivo V11 Pro

Customarily, we installed AnTuTu, Geekbench 4, and 3DMark on the Vivo V11 Pro upon unboxing to assess its benchmark scores and performance. The scores from the Vivo V11 Pro align closely with expectations for a device equipped with a Snapdragon 660 processor and 6GB of RAM. Starting with AnTuTu, the Vivo V11 Pro scored 128304, slightly below the 129863 achieved by the Xiaomi Mi A2, which also uses a Snapdragon 660 SoC.

In Geekbench 4, the Vivo V11 Pro achieved a single-core score of 1444 and a multi-core score of 5485. While the single-core score is slightly lower than the Mi A2’s, the Vivo V11 Pro’s multi-core score is notably higher.

Finally, the Vivo V11 Pro secured 1211 in 3DMark’s Sling Shot Extreme – OpenGL test and 962 in Sling Shot Extreme – Vulkan, slightly lower than the Mi A2. Yet, if you assume these scores indicate inferior performance compared to the Mi A2, which didn’t excel initially, you’d be mistaken.

Vivo V11 Pro Performance and Gaming Review: Impressive Features

Despite synthetic benchmark scores suggesting otherwise, the Vivo V11 Pro outperforms the Mi A2 in real-world usage. To assess its performance, we extensively tested the device with various games such as PUBG Mobile, Asphalt 9: Legends, Tekken, and Breakneck.

The Vivo V11 Pro performed admirably in our testing, experiencing no lags, stutters, or freezing even when burdened with intensive games, a contrast to the Mi A2. I played PUBG Mobile without encountering any performance issues, even at medium settings. With 6GB RAM, multitasking was impressive, allowing several demanding apps and games to remain open simultaneously.

Asphalt 9: Legends also ran smoothly, with no stuttering or frame drops. Despite consecutive races and PUBG sessions, the device effortlessly kept both games open in the background.

Tekken and Breakneck ran perfectly on the Vivo V11 Pro, with no issues. The device features a heavily customized Android skin, unlike the Mi A2 with stock Android. Despite this, I was impressed with its performance, though it doesn’t match the Poco F1 in the same price range.

Vivo V11 Pro Performance and Gaming Review: Works Exactly How You’d Expect

Priced at Rs. 25,990, the Vivo V11 Pro doesn’t offer the best performance in a smartphone right now. That title’s held by the Poco F1 (starts at Rs. 20,999). However, the Vivo V11 Pro isn’t a bad performer and brings something else to the table. It fared well in our testing, and its performance does justice to the hardware, unlike the Mi A2. So, if you’re in the market for a mid-ranger with unique and innovative features not found in most flagship devices, along with pretty decent performance, then the Vivo V11 Pro is a good choice. However, if you prioritize absolute performance over innovative features and the Super AMOLED display, then consider the Poco F1.
