If you overlooked our Genshin Impact 4.2 coverage, now’s the opportune moment to catch up on game developments. Explore for deeper insights into forthcoming maps, characters, weapons, mechanics, and more!

1. Arlecchino

Arlecchino is highly anticipated in the Genshin Impact Fontaine region, owing to her design and the popularity of harbingers. Currently, there are two playable harbingers: Childe (Tartaglia) and Scaramouche (Balladeer). Given their popularity, it makes sense for Hoyoverse to make Arlecchino playable.

Earlier leaks indicated Arlecchino as a five-star sword unit, but it appears she will wield a Polearm with a Pyro vision and a different delusion. As the 10th Fatui harbinger, she isn’t necessarily the weakest, surpassing Childe, who lore suggests is the weakest Harbinger. Most leaks portray Arlecchino as a DPS character, yet it’s premature to judge, given the recent release of version 4.2. She briefly appears in the upcoming Archon quest in Genshin Impact 4.2, with leakers suggesting she’ll become playable in version 4.6.

2. Lyney

Lyney, an upcoming character in the Genshin Impact Fontaine update, warrants excitement. He debuted in the Teyvat Chapter storyline preview video alongside his sister, Lynette. Both siblings, along with Freminet, hail from the Fatui faction and reside in Fontaine.

He’s a five-star Pyro character proficient with a bow. In Fontaine, Lyney and Lynette perform a magic show, referring to Arlecchino as “father” since she manages the House of Hearth, to which the siblings also belong. Lyney’s signature weapon, the First Great Magic, enhances his attack at the cost of HP.

3. Lynette

Lynette, a four-star Anemo and sword-wielding character, was given alongside another free four-star character, Bennett, in Genshin Impact 4.0. She is Lyney’s sister and his assistant in his magic show in Fontaine, secretly a puppet with little light shed on that fact.

Her skill involves sprinting and marking enemies, similar to Yelan, unleashing two strikes – one upon stopping sprinting and another split second after. Lynette’s elemental burst deals significant swirl damage, making her an Anemo DPS. Her Elemental Burst involves throwing a hat on the field, absorbing an element, and continuously dealing swirl damage.

4. Freminet

The third sibling, Freminet, stands distinct. He’s a Cryo male wielding a Claymore, emphasizing physical DPS akin to Eula. His design complements the Fontaine leaks.

In official artwork, Freminet appears with the Bell, once controversial in Genshin Impact, now maximized by a character utilizing its passives.

5. Focalors/Furina

Furina, the Hydro archon, anticipates debut in Version 4.2, expected with a sword, serving as a Hydro unit. She acts as an off-field DPS/Support, enhancing party dynamics with buffs and healing. Transitioning between Arkhe and Pneuma states enables her to alternate between sub-DPS and healer, amplifying party support.

Focalors debuted officially in the trailer “The Final Feast.” Previous information suggests her regular presence in trials due to her commitment to justice, earning her the moniker “Nation of Justice.” With a bratty demeanor, her true nature is unveiled following the final Archon Quest.

6. Neuvillette

Neuvillette, Fontaine’s chief justice and President of the Supreme Court, stands as a five-star Hydro character despite lacking a Hydro vision. As the reincarnation of one of Teyvat’s seven sovereigns, the Hydro Dragon, akin to the Dendro Dragon Apep, he wields the Tome of Eternal Flow, showcased in the Genshin Impact 4.1 Banners. Possessing a reserved and calm disposition, Neuvillette utilizes Catalysts as his weapon of choice.

The “Chief Justice” refrains from forming personal bonds, believing they might influence his judgments. He mentioned Nahida in her Drip marketing and introduction, acknowledging the actions of the “Youngest Archon” in steering Sumeru’s course. Focalors is also discussed, likening her to Nahida as someone “Prone to hysterics,” a trait evident in Focalors’ sassy demeanor in the Archon quest.

7. Charlotte

Charlotte debuted in the Genshin Impact 3.7 event “Duel! The Summoners’ Summit!” She’s a journalist from Steambird, one of Fontaine’s leading publications. Charlotte, a four-star character, wields a Catalyst and Cryo vision.

Charlotte is pivotal in Fontaine’s Archon Quests, being a four-star Cryo Catalyst wielder introduced in Genshin Impact 4.2.

8. Sigewinne

Sigewinne, the head nurse, debuted alongside Wriothesley, the Duke of the Fortress of Meropide, in the initial Fontaine trailer. Though details about her abilities and armaments are scarce, leaks portray her as a Chibi nurse and a five-star healer.

Rumors speculate Sigewinne will possess a Hydro vision and make her debut in Genshin Impact 4.5. However, these details remain unverified.

9. Clorinde

Clorinde, hailing from Monsdstadt, holds a prominent position in the Fontaine justice squad, reigning as the top duelist champion in the region. Witnessed in action during the Archon quest amidst an attack on Navia and the Traveler by Meka, she demonstrated her prowess with an electro pellet-firing gun.

Despite her status, little is revealed about Chlorinde’s character, abilities, and gameplay style, except for her anticipated debut as a five-star unit in Genshin Impact 4.6, according to leaks and rumors.

10. Navia

The dry period of Geo characters, especially Geo DPS units, ends with Navia. Navia, introduced in Fontaine, leads the Spina De Rosula organization once headed by her father, Callas. The history of Spina was unveiled during the Archon Quests and will be further explored in her story quest in Genshin Impact 4.3.

Navia, a five-star Geo unit, wields a Claymore. Her talents and passives scale off attack and are linked to the Crystallize reaction. For those considering wishing on her banner, here’s our Navia pre-farming guide.

11. Wriothesley

Wriothesley, a five-star Catalyst user, resides in the Fortress of Meropide to control Fontaine’s prisoners. He debuted in the 4.0 trailer alongside Sigewinne and gained popularity since. Wriothesley’s banner premiered in version 4.1 with Neuvillette’s, playing a crucial role in the Fontaine saga.

His play style involves Cryo-imbued punches reminiscent of Heizou. His signature weapon, Cashflow Supervision, is a Catalyst. Design-wise, he stands out as one of Fontaine’s best characters, if not the entire game.

12. Chevreuse

Chevreuse captains Fontaine’s special security force, debuting in Genshin Impact 4.3 as a four-star character during the Roses and Muskets event. Armed with a Polearm and Gun as her secondary skill weapon, she embodies the Pyro element, primarily functioning as a support healer while amplifying the damage output of fellow Pyro party members.

13. Chiori

Chiori, an Inazuma native, is intricately linked to Fontaine, as indicated by leaks surrounding her character and vision. Renowned as a fashion designer responsible for Navia’s attire, and potentially Ayaka’s as well, she is slated for an initial appearance in the 4.3 main event, Roses and Muskets, with rumors suggesting her full debut as a playable character in Genshin Impact 4.5. While details regarding her abilities, vision, and weapon proficiency remain scarce, speculation from leakers points to her being a five-star Geo character.
