Following the release of the Redmi Note 10S with the Helio G95 SoC in India, Xiaomi introduces two new Redmi Note 10 models in China. The Redmi Note 10 5G and Note 10 Pro 5G differ significantly from the Indian Redmi Note 10 series launched in March. These devices feature MediaTek Dimensity 5G chipsets, 5,000mAh batteries, 5G connectivity, and more. Let’s explore the key specifications and features of these new Redmi Note 10 devices.
Redmi Note 10 5G and Note 10 Pro 5G Launch
Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G
Starting with the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G, the device features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel, differing from its 4G counterpart, which outside China, features an AMOLED panel. Nonetheless, the screen offers a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, with a peak brightness of 1100nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Regarding optics, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G includes a triple-camera setup at the back: a primary 64MP sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens, all housed within a rectangular module. Additionally, there’s a 16MP selfie camera at the front, placed in the centered punch-hole cutout.
Inside, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G includes the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, alongside a microSD slot for expansion.
Regarding the battery, the device houses a massive 5,000mAh capacity with 67W fast charging, promising a full charge in under 42 minutes, facilitated by the included Mi 67W fast charger.
In addition, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication and payments, along with Hi-Res-certified JBL-branded dual stereo speakers supporting Dolby Atmos.
The device is available in three color variants: Magic Green, Moon Soul, and Star Yarn, featuring a “3D stereoscopic texture” on the back. It operates on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5.

The Redmi Note 10 5G sports a smaller 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, boasting a resolution of 2400 x 1080p and a peak brightness of 500 nits.
Unlike its elder sibling, the non-Pro Redmi Note 10 5G is equipped with a dual-camera array at the back, comprising a 48MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it offers an 8MP front-facing camera.
