The slowing solution is made in the “hand mixer” with 1 beeswax, 1 hops, or 1 fat. Fat yields 1 slowing solution, hops yield 3, and beeswax yields 4. Beeswax is the hardest to obtain, so using hops and fat is sufficient.
The slowing powder requires 1 hop or 1 spider web. Break them down in the alchemy mill to receive 2 slowing powders for a spider web and 4 for hops by default. Hops is a better option here.
To produce the acceleration solution, break down 1 honey or 1 blue jelly in the hand mixer. Honey yields 4 of these solutions, while blue jelly yields 2. Honey is easier to obtain, making it the better choice.

To apply fertilizers to crops, use them on the empty garden bed first. Then, plant the crops, and they’ll receive the boost. If you plant the crops first, you can’t apply fertilizer to them.
