Huawei unveiled the Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, and Mate 20X in London, featuring the all-new HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC.

All three phones sport triple rear camera modules. The Mate 20X also includes an M-Pen stylus, competing with the Galaxy Note 9, and a massive 7.2-inch display. The Mate 20 and Mate 20X have a waterdrop display notch, while the Mate 20 Pro has a VSEL front-facing module for enhanced face unlock security.

The Huawei Mate 20 boasts a 6.43-inch full-HD+ panel with a small ‘Dewdrop notch’, resulting in an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the Kirin 980 SoC, speculated to be paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage.

The Mate 20 shares the same cameras as the Mate 20 Pro, a departure from the P20 series. Both Mate 20 phones feature a triple rear camera setup: a 40-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture for enhanced light capture through pixel-binning, a 20-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
