Notification Summary streamlines non-urgent alerts for easy management. When activated, it consolidates less crucial notifications, delivering them in a tidy package at your convenience.
Customize your summary by selecting preferred apps. Notification Summary intuitively prioritizes apps based on their daily notification frequency, simplifying the process of choosing essential ones to monitor. Once chosen, set your preferred time to receive the summary, ensuring effortless tracking of non-urgent alerts.
Calls, messages, and time-sensitive notifications will be delivered immediately even for apps in the notification summary.
Enable Notification Summary on iPhone
- Launch the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Choose “Notifications“.
3. Select the “Scheduled Summary” option.
4. Toggle the switch next to “Scheduled Summary” to enable the feature.
5. Tap on “Continue“, and then choose apps for your summary. Tap on “Add [x] Apps” once you are done.
6. Set a schedule for your notification summary. You can add multiple summaries, such as three times a day: morning, afternoon, and evening. To schedule, tap “Add Summary” and select your preferred time.
7. Once you’ve customized the schedule, tap “Turn on Notification Summary” at the bottom.
That’s it! You’ve successfully created a customized Notification Summary on iOS 15. Moving forward, iOS 15 will send you a bundle of non-urgent notifications at your chosen time. Additionally, you can preview scheduled summaries in the Notification Center.
